Dining at Casa Marari
Home-style Kerala food by the sea
Fresh seafood, coconut, curry leaves and spice — cooked to order in our kitchen, a few minutes from the fishing boats of Marari.
Food at Casa Marari is home-style Kerala cooking, not a hotel buffet. Tell us what you would like the day before (or in the morning for dinner) and our kitchen prepares it fresh — from a simple appam-and-stew breakfast to a fish pollichathu made with the day's catch from Marari.
Prefer your own food? That's fine too. Guests are welcome to bring food, use the shared fridge and oven, or order from nearby restaurants that deliver to the property.

What our guests say

“We got lucky with a last minute booking. Property surpassed all my expectations. The road to the property is very narrow with tight turns. Once you enter there's plenty of outdoor space with lots for young children — a basketball pole, badminton court, pedal bikes, swing, and hammock. Carrom board and board games for those who stay indoors. Rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean. Bathrooms are spacious with a roofless shower which is a nice touch. They do onsite barbecue if you order ahead. There are restaurants nearby who will deliver to the property. Overall we enjoyed really well. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a large family with kids.”

“We took the whole property of 6 rooms for a night stay on a family staycation. What stood out was the hospitality and cleanliness. They were extremely flexible about how we choose to eat — bringing in food, ordering with them or even ordering directly from nearby restaurants. Extra beds were given generously. They had a fridge and oven so we could bring in our food and eat it fresh. A small boat was available for rowing. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay memorable.”
